Sports and rap are one in the same. Both fields require some expertise in order to last, both are extremely competitive, and both are here to entertain us. While basketball remains the favorite in hip-hop, football is a close second. Throughout history, rappers have tried to hammer home a point by incorportaing NFL references in their rhymes. Lil B swagged us out with "Jerry Rice," Joe Budden uses a sports reference in every other song, as well as Jay Z.
