2:15 PM: Leveon Bell's touchdown run against the Minnesota Vikings Sunday was the Pittsburgh Steelers' first 1st quarter TD scored in 8 games.

2:00 PM: USC has fired football coach Lane Kiffin and is expected to name Ed Orgeron as interim head coach.

1:45 PM: KISS member Gene Simmons sung the Star Spangled Banner before Sunday's Steelers vs. Vikings game at Wembley Stadium in London.

1:30 PM: Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban goes to federal court Monday to face insider trading charges from the Securities & Exchange Commission.

1:15 PM: ESPN's College GameDay show announces it is heading to Evanston, Illinois next Saturday for Northwestern vs. Ohio State.

1:00 PM: Saturday's 62-41 loss to Arizona State tied USC's record of most points given up in one game. The Trojans also gave up 62 to Oregon last season.

12:45 PM: Southern Miss lost its 16th game in a row in Saturday's 60-7 defeat to Boise State. The loss was also the Golden Eagles' worst since 1969 when they were defeated 69-7 by Ole Miss.

12:30 PM: UNLV defeated New Mexico 56-42 in Albuquerque on Saturday to end the Rebels' 23-game road losing streak. It also marked the first time UNLV has won three games in a row since 2003.

12:15 PM: Miami Marlins batter Donovan Solano was hit in the head by a pitch from the Detroit Tigers' Evan Reed during Saturday's game. But Solano said afterwards he was feeling fine & hopes to play in Sunday's season finale.

12:00 PM: Olympic hurdler & LSU alum Lolo Jones tweeted that the Tigers' season was "over" after Saturday's loss to Georgia. Jones also offered to sell the rest of her LSU season tickets but later added that she didn't have any to begin with.

8:00 PM: South Florida punter Mattias Ciabatti flubbed a punt that only went two yards during Saturday's 49-21 loss to Miami.

7:45 PM: LSU kick returner Odell Beckham Jr. made a one-handed grab of a kickoff for a touchback during Saturday's game against Georgia.

7:30 PM: Following Saturday's 35-21 home loss to Oklahoma, Notre Dame football players were heading to the locker room instead of to the student section to sing the Alma Mater until LB Carlo Calabrese led the team back out.

7:15 PM: Phoenix Coyotes forward Paul Bissonnette, who was suspended for 10 regular season games for leaving the bench during a preseason brawl, had his suspension reduced to three games.

7:00 PM: The New York Yankees announced Saturday that Mariano Rivera will not pitch this weekend in Houston against the Astros.
